Calls for calm inside mosh pit fall on deaf ears

One music-goer had her day ruined at a festival when the dancing crowd became too exuberant.

‘I saw my friend’s iPhone 11 Pro get trampled,’ Alison tearfully recalled to our reporter.

‘No one heard us tell them to stop. They were all dancing and bashing into each other,’ Alison continued.

Asked if Alison’s friend had insurance for her phone, Alison shook her head. ‘And she also has all of her Instagram followers on there, like two hundred, and she’s lost the password to the account and the e-mail so it’s like two losses, you know?’

Studies show that several phones a year are lost to mosh pits at musical festivals every year. Scientists expect this to skyrocket over the next century.
